I note that your Campbell's are from Eaglesham. There is a nice write up on Eaglesham in "Ordnance Gazetteer of Scotland", Grange Publishing Works, Glasgow, 1884, volume I (half page) , as well as in "The Gazetteer of Scotland", W. Chalmers, Dundee, 1803 (quarter page). If you do not have copies, I will try and scan (OCR) copies for you.
