The Green Free Library in Wellsboro, PA (Seat of Tioga County) --
http://www.ncldistrict.org/wellsboro/ -- has an excellent family
history/genealogy section. You might call to ask if there is a book on your
family. While much of the material you find there would be considered
secondary sources, you might find references for several generations back, as
I did. From these records you might find information such as church
affiliation, that could lead you to a source for your birth records.
Also, check -- http://www.rootsweb.com/~patioga/tiogaweb.htm -- for other
sources in Tioga County.
