Hi,

I took done notes from an old newspaper clipping about an Obediah Campbell William Culp in a keepsake drawer at my in-laws years ago. No note as to the paper or the date that it was from (doubt that it was available). My brother-in-law married and his wife only kept the things relating to the Good Family. The article listed him as being in the civil war. I did at one time find him in one of the civil war rosters, but can't locate the note about it. I have found other Cupps and Campbells, Maybe I'm looking on the wrong side of the war (most of my family is in the Kentucky and Missouri area, but my husband's family is from the Pennsylvania area.)

I don't think he's related - it's just a loose end that warrants investigation, since the article was kept in the keepsake drawer.

Anyone know of this Obediah
