Just a thought reading through this line.
I couldn't find some of my family on census records. Then I stumbled upon
the state archives and discovered that two of my gg grandfather's brothers
served with the 100th US Infantry during the Civil War. One was taken
prisoner in Chattanooga and fate unknown, and the other died in Nashville
TN. It was the last place I thought to search though I found why I don't
have many CAMPBELL cousins. :(
