For a nominal fee, the BC Genealogical Society (BCGS) will do research for you - looking up death registrations and obituaries and cemetery records, for example: http://www.bcgs.ca

or you might find a volunteer to do any of this at RAOGK - Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness: http://www.raogk.org
