IN MEMORY Daniel Patrick Whalley "HOLLYWOOD" So long bro...we all loved ya. At 5:23
p.m., Wednesday, October 1st, 2003, at Langley Memorial Hospital, God called home one of
his finest angels. After a brief battle with cancer, our beloved "HOLLYWOOD" finally
succumbed to his illness and passed quietly into hotrod heaven. Born October 3rd, 1942,
Danny left us just shy of his 61st birthday, but he packed a lot of living into those 60
years. More than most could manage in two lifetimes. If it is true that the measure of a
man's life is the quantity and quality of his friends, then Daniel was surely without
equal. For his love of life was legendary, as was his love of family and friends. Always
happy, never selfish nor envious, and generous to all those he cared for, his will be a
legacy of laughter, love, and good will. Daniel will be remembered and missed by the
family he leaves behind. His loving wife Carol; son Shane; daughter Jody; son-in-law
Mike; granddaughter Leia; mother-in-law Theresa; brother and sister-in-law Rick and
Claire; nephews Chad and Kip; and niece Stacy; all mourn the loss of their beloved
Daniel. Danny will also be missed dearly by his good friends Gary, Rob, Mickey and Bill
and especially by his "other" family, his "Buds" from the Torchmen Rod and Kustom Club.
Thank you "Hollywood". For all you gave us. You will be remembered always and remain in
our hearts and minds forever. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th
at 1:00 p.m., at Henderson Funeral Home, 20786 Fraser Highway, Langley. 604-530-6488
