CAMPBELL _ Cora (January 28, 1919 - August 10, 2004) Cora our "Queen Bee" passed away
suddenly at the age of 88 on August 10, 2004 at Eagle Ridge Hospital with her daughters
by her side. Her family and friends will all dearly miss her. She was best known for her
love and luck at Bingo, cards, Rummoli, and seeing those "7's" come up on the slot
machines. All of us will especially remember her quick wit, generosity, great sense of
humour and unconditional love. She was always "just there" for all of us. She was born
in Norfolk, England and lived in Burnaby for 81 years where she was honored as a
"Burnaby Pioneer". Through the 1950's - 70's Cora was not only a devoted employee of
Woodward's Dept. Store, but also she was very busy raising a family of three girls. Over
the past 30 years, she also enjoyed being a member on the New Westminster Century House,
Eastburn Community Center, Edmonds Community Center and the New Westminster Ladies
Legion. She is survived by her younger sister, Barbara Hughes of Salt Spring Island, her
immediate family Wendy and Don Neumann, Pat Hitchens, Lynda and Warren Hicks, her
grandchildren Mike, Renee, and Cory Neumann, Steve Jardin, Lisa and Grant Coghill, Cheri
and Justin Goller, Sam, Joe and Dan (deceased) Hicks and her great-grandchildren,
Kimberly and Tyson Neumann. Her dear friends Jean Purdy and Dorothy Findlay and all her
new acquaintances at Parkwood Manor will also miss her. "GOODBYE, LOVE YA AND I WILL
TALK TO YOU LATER" By Mom's request, no service or flowers. Thanks.
NAGY _ Steve ( 1925 - 2004 ) We are sad to announce the passing of Steve Nagy, age 79.
Steve passed away at Lions Gate Hospital August 4th, 2004. Steve was known to many in
the Lonsdale area of North Vancouver going for coffee or coming home from his fitness
class. He enjoyed many a day in his garden or going out for coffee or dinner with
granddaughter, son and friend at least twice a week: a tradition that had been going on
for many years. We are blessed to have had this time to spend with him. Steve gave to
many charities as well as being a blood donor for 35 years for which he received
recognition from The Candaian Red Cross Society for his efforts. He shared his kind
manner, warm heart and generous nature with many. We will miss you. Survived by his
daughter, Jo-Ann, son, Mark, and granddaughter, Rachelle. The service will be held at
Boal Chapel, 1505 Lillooet Road, North Vancouver on Saturday, August 21, 2004 at 2:00
p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the North Shore Association for the
Mentally Handicapped or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
