BLACKWELL, Lynn Wellwood November 17, 1919 October 2, 2005 Sadly we announce
the sudden passing of Lynn Blackwell of North Saanich, BC at the age of 85.
Lynn spent several years in the RCAF stationed in St. Thomas and Trenton,
Ontario where he met his wife Olive, who predeceased him in 1996, following
53 happy years of marriage. Much of his life was spent in the hardware and
sporting goods business in Alberta and British Columbia, where he also
enjoyed camping and hunting. Lynn is survived by his daughter, Sharie
Blackwell of Sundre, Alberta and his son Randy (Linda) Blackwell of Cold
Lake, Alberta as well as four grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. He
also leaves in sadness his very special love and companion Amanda (Jan)
Woolverton who shared the last years of his life in both North Saanich, BC
and Santa Maria, California. Family and friends may pay their respects at a
visitation to be held at SEQUOIA GARDENS MEMORIAL, 4665 Falaise Drive, on
Thursday October 13, 2005 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Service of remembrance will
be held at a later date in Alberta. If desired, donations on Lynn's behalf
