FRANCIS, Charles (Chuck) Ernest Benjamin May 16, 1961 November 17, 2006
Goodbye to a loving husband, father, son, brother and friend. On Friday,
November 17, 2006 a perfect rainbow appeared and arched over the glistening
waters of Qualicum Beach as Chuck peacefully passed away. To those gathered
by his bedside it was as if God was opening the gates to Heaven and
welcoming Chuck home. Highly respected for his integrity, dedication to
family, goals and a solid work ethic, Chuck incorporated his Christian
principles that came from a personal relationship with his Lord, with a
sound business philosophy. Never seeking the limelight, Chuck owned and
operated a number of successful businesses. In addition to his Executive
responsibilities Chuck also dedicated his time, energy and expertise to
projects, often working behind the scenes, to achieve common goals that
benefited the broader community, a rare attribute that will always be
remembered. Chuck will be lovingly remembered by Cathy, his devoted wife,
partner and best friend of 21 years, and by his two beautiful and loving
daughters Stephanie and Anna. Also his loving parents John and Bernice
Francis, sister and brother-in-law Grace and Courtland Carbol as well as
numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and other family members. A
very special thank you to Dr. Martins and the staff of the BC Cancer Agency
in Victoria along with Dr. Fletcher and the other excellent and caring
health care professionals in Qualicum Beach, not to mention numerous friends
and family, for all their support, prayers and loving care. On Friday,
November 24, 2006 at 5 p.m. a service celebrating and honouring Chuck's life
will be held at Glad Tidings Church, 1800 Quadra St. in Victoria, B.C.
Pastor Ron Michalski will officiate with a Reception to follow. Interment
will be held in Qualicum Beach on the morning of Friday, November 24, 2006

SALMON, Lorna P. March 15, 1948 November 21, 1992 It's been fourteen years
since that cold November day Through dark lonely times, I somehow found my
way. From a far better place you've brightened the days, Watched over and
guided me, shown me the way. Many friends and family will pause to shed a
tear Unable to believe its been yet another year Everyone that knew you
loved you so much Anyone who had met you, their heart you did touch A gift
from above you left us too soon You are my Yellow Rose always in bloom The
warmth of your smile, the sparkle in your eyes Our memories are filled with
endless supplies I have not forgotten the foundation you've laid The lessons
you taught the sacrifices you made I hope you are proud of the man I've
become As proud as I am that I'm my mother's son You are always with me,
forever in my heart. Love Dan 317667

WHITE, Valerie Anne Sept. 20, 1973 Nov. 21, 2005 Our hearts ache with
sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it meant to lose you, nobody will
ever know. Our thoughts are always with you, your place no one can ever
fill. In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. They say time
heals all, we know this is not so. Because it hurts as much today as 1 year
ago. Forever in our hearts and always with us. We love and miss you so much
