Patrick Theodore passed away on December 4, 2006 at the age of 61. Pat was
born on January 15, 1945 in Alberta. He will be lovingly remembered by his
daughter Holly, brother Sam, Ray and sister Lorraine. Stepfather Baldur and
family and friends.

December 3, 2006
Agnes passed away peacefully with her two children holding her hands in the
early morning of December 3rd. She was predeceased by her mother, Karen and
father, Ivar. Agnes leaves her children; Gailene (Tyler) and Bradley
(Allayne) and her six beloved grandchildren: Tanner, Colten, Sydney, Tulsa,
Rio and Callie Ann; her sisters: Rikka (Vidar) and Solveig (Jim); nieces:
Lisa, Karen, Judy and nephews Wade and Aaron and her two best friends, Hazel
Bendickson and Georgie Haugen, all who mourn her deeply.
Mom grew up in the "North Country". She was raised on a farm in Doe River
and then married and raised her family in Dawson Creek. She worked hard on
the family farm and helped make it into a successful business. On the farm
Mom drove a combine during harvest often working 18 hours a day to get the
crop off. During spring seeding, she took meals out to the field and food
out of Tupperware containers never tasted so good. Mom was often found at
the arena cheering on Bradley in his hockey games, or watching Gailene
figure skate. Mom loved to bake and one of the best memories was coming home
to the smell of freshly baked cinnamon buns, fresh bread or a row of pies.
Mom moved to Campbell River in 1988 and quickly discovered all the area golf
courses. She loved her retirement and had a huge group of friends that she
would travel, play golf, share dinners, watch movies and play poker with.
She had many late nights laughing with friends.
Her biggest joy was her grandchildren and you couldn't be around her very
long without hearing about one or all of them. She did daycare for Gailene's
children and again found herself in the arena watching kids on the ice. She
had the most wonderful laugh and loved the joy in life. Mom always said that
being happy is the most important thing in life. She paid attention to
people and was interested in what they were doing or had to say. She hated
to cut her grass and sometimes found herself in great conversations with her
neighbours as a way to procrastinate the job. Mom was young for her age and
never ever would be caught dressing "like an old lady". She was young in
spirit, fun to be around, had a spectacular sense of humour even when she
was so sick and she was feisty as hell. What a privilege to have her as a
mom, grandmother, sister and friend.
A Celebration of life (or party as Mom called it) will be held on Sunday,
December 10th at 1:00p.m. at Sequoia Springs Golf Course.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to B.C. Children's Hospital
Foundation, c/o Tribute Program, 4480 Oak Street Room B321, Vancouver, B.C.
