SANGHA _ Parmjeet Kaur 1955 - 2007 With heavy hearts we announce that
Parmjeet Kaur Sangha passed away on February 8th, 2007. Surrounded by family
and while listening to prayers her life journey came to an end. She was a
beautiful person, in physical form and in spirit. Her unconditional love,
humility and genuine care for everyone made her a giant in the hearts of
those who knew her. Today those hearts ache. Parmjeet Kaur was born in
Punjab, India and as a teenager moved to England, where she grew up and was
married. She came to Canada in 1974 and settled in BC, raising a family and
working in the accounting field. She also served her community as a family
counselor, working to better the lives of battered women and new immigrants.
Parmjeet Kaur lived a life of inspiration and courage. With bravery and
sheer determination she battled lung cancer for more than four years.
Throughout her life, her valor and strength in the face of adversity is a
lasting legacy that we shall honor forever and uphold in our own lives.
Parmjeet Kaur was a dear daughter, a caring sister, a devoted wife, a
compassionate aunt and above all the greatest mother. Her unwavering
commitment to her children in all aspects and in particular their education
was unsurpassed. We are indebted to her for that and for so much more. We
vow to fulfill the unfinished hopes and dreams that she kept for all of us.
She lived gracefully balancing her great respect for God and her passion for
enjoying life to the fullest. We will miss her smile, her love of music, her
free-spirited dancing, her wonderful sense of style, her tea times, her
gardening, her reassuring words; we will miss her all and forever. Her
husband, Surinder Singh, her loving son, Sukhwinder Singh, and much-loved
daughter, Sharon Kaur survive her. Many other dear relatives and friends,
like her brother, Balbir Singh Bajwa and family and sister, Devinder Kaur
Dhaliwal and family, will keep her memory alive. We all pray that God, grant
Parmjeet Kaur everlasting peace. Final services will be held at Riverside
