ILLSLEY, Christine (nee Clelland) 1961 2007 Born on December 20, 1961 in
Chelsea, London, UK, Christine died on Boxing Day 2007 after a long and
brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband Ray, children;
Nicola, Emma, Nathan, and mother Pat (Brian) Owen. Christine had two big
aims in life, to travel and have a family, both of which she achieved with
great success. Married to Ray for 23 years they travelled around Australia
and New Zealand, went on safari in Kenya, explored Mediterranean islands and
spent long leisurely weekends in Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and Lisbon. They
emigrated to Canada in 1994, first to Vancouver then to Victoria where they
lived for the last 13 years. Having been an only child Christine really
wanted a family, the results of which were three amazing children; Nicola,
Emma and Nathan. Most weekends, come rain or shine, would find Christine on
a soccer field watching her children playing soccer. Her wonderful smile and
positive outlook on life will be missed by all whose lives she touched,
especially her mother-in-law, Peggy with whom she spent many happy hours in
the UK getting retail therapy at Marks and Spencer's. A celebration of life
service will be held at McCall Bros., 1400 Vancouver Street, Victoria on
Monday, December 31, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be
made to an Education Trust Fund for Nicola, Emma and Nathan. 434249

MACKAY, Kimberly Anne February 8, 1978 December 31, 2006 God's Garden If
roses grow in heaven Lord please pick the prettiest Bunch you see. Place
them in my daughter's arms And tell her they're from me. Tell her I miss and
love her And when she turns to smile, Place a kiss upon her cheek and hold
her for awhile. Because remembering her is easy I do it everyday, But
there's an ache within my heart That never ever goes away... Love you
forever, Mom 431269
