RANDELL, Peter Sept. 4, 1973 Feb. 3, 1993 In loving remembrance of our son,
Peter, here is a poem he wrote at age 15: THE JOKE: By Peter Randell You'll
probably never find What you think you're looking for you say things like
"Life Sucks". When for a while, it is a bore. But when it's almost over
you'll wish that you had more, Because you see the finality When you're
falling at death's door. Don't be comforted by death because you don't have
a soul. Heaven is make-believe So it cannot be your goal. Appreciate your
life because death will be the end. Afterlife's a myth that "faith" just
will not mend. You're the master of your destiny. Your life is a path you
control. Bad situations are overcome If you have a goal. Accept life's ups
and downs And when it's really lame Just do the best you can It's all part
of the game. Any purpose life may have is up to you to decide. Whatever
interference comes You have the power to override. Don't put your faith in
superstitions and depend on them. Put your faith in yourself That's where
your strength stems. Still missing you, Peter. Eleanor (Mum) & Alan (Dad)
