Peggy Kosolofski Born in Trail Tadnac Hospital March 13, 1941. Passed away
peacefully after a short battle with cancer at Eagle Lodge, April 11, 2008.
Survived by her loving husband Brian of 42 years, sister Donna,
brother-inlaw John, sister-in-law Carol, brother-in-law Doug, Uncle Les of
Penticton and many nieces and nephews and their families. Peggy was known
for her magnetic bouncy personality and she loved friends and family and
could chat it up with the best of them. She worked at the Courier-Islander
for over 20 years in advertising and was well known in the community. She
loved to travel and spend time at their cabin at Beach Acres and always had
a big welcoming smile when you came to visit. In loving memory of Peggy, she
will be sadly missed by family and friends. Celebration of Life will be held
at Beach Acres Grove room on April 20 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, send
any donation to the Eagle Lodge in Qualicum. 127185

Charlene Matthews In Loving memory of Charlene Esther Matthews. Born
November 21, 1961, passed away on April 10, 2008. She was predeceased by her
father Doug Matthews in 1994, nephew Jason, May 16, 1978. She is survived by
her mother Barbra Kovacs, stepfather Marton Kovacs, son Justin Matthews,
seven sisters, Maureen (Dan), Barbra (Henry), Rose (Larry), Nadine, Lorna
(George), Cindy (Harold), Lorraine (Bob), 18 nieces and nephews, 22 great
nieces and nephews. Charlene loved the outdoors, loved animals of every kind
especially horses and dogs. Charlene had a very big, kind, giving heart for
all family and friends. Charlene will be truly missed and always loved by
everyone whose lives she touched. Thank you to the Campbell River Hospital,
3rd floor north nurses, Dr. Rob Ramsey and all other staff for their very
kind and attentive ways. A Celebration of Charlene's Life will be held at
Oceancrest Church, 291 McLean Street on Friday, April 18, 2008, 3:00 p.m. In
lieu of flowers donations to Campbell River Hospital, 381-2nd Ave., Campbell
River, BC V9W 3V1 would be appreciated. 127002
