Hello all,
I am searching for information regarding Thomas Catlin Crawley and his
two families. He was born in Guelph, ON in 1877 and died in Comox, BC
in 1962. Why was he in Comox? He's my father's birth father but did not
raise him. He maried my father's mother, Hulda Victoria Manson, in
Vancouver, BC, in 1906 but they separated soon after my father was born,
and he married Anne McDonald at a somewhat later date. She had childen
by a previous marriage to Thomas Smith Cassidy (Ethel, Phyllis and
Oswald) and Ethel was the informant at Thomas Crawley's death. Does
anyone now anything about Ethel, Phyllis or Oswald? I know this seems
like I know a lot about the family, but I can't find any trace of Thomas
Cassidy, Anne or their children or anything more about Thomas Crawley. I
know my father was born in Lynn Valley, BC and his father worked there
for some time. Why did he die in Comox? My main interst is finding
someone who knows anything about the family. I have no known living
relatives - there must be someone out there who knows something about
either family. I'd sure appreciate anone who can make me feel part of a
family. Thanks! Ruth Staal
