To all:-
This is NOT a political message for any certain party or politician,
but after watching the annual Tournament of Roses Parade this
morning, held in a heavy downpour of rain (first since 1955), it
made me wonder what our voting day will be like as we go from
coast-to-coast-to-coast. [Parades are not held on a Sunday,
due to a ruling by committee]
I have already marked my 2006 calendar with the three Advance
Polling days, a Friday, Saturday and Monday -- surely we will
have good weather on one of these - do not trust the 23rd as
it could be like a report issued by a weatherman.
Should anyone not have received cards to date, this map might
help you locate riding and candidate(s) -- this message is on
behalf of ALL parties:-

Should anyone be so lucky to be heading to warmer climates,
visit your local Returning Office and take your Library or even
a Telephone bill -- something with name and address to prove
you are actually who you state you are! Happy warm vacation!
Canadians do not only live in Canada -- those in United States,
England and other places vote by MAIL -- ask me if you have
not been contacted or do not know procedure..
Our service personnel are already in the process of voting by
mail/letter procedure.
None of the EARLY votes will be opened until Jan. 23 and I
personally predict snow shovel weather for that date!!
Remember, the cost of an election is paid by US -- let's ALL
take advantage of OUR $$$$ and cast our personal vote.
