My husband is a descendant of Sarah (Marie Magdeleine) Allen, daughter of Edouard Allen and Marie Painter. Sarah, who was age 12 when taken prisoner, chose to remain in Quebec and married Guillaume Lalonde dit L'Esperance. She is my husband's 7greats grandmother. I would be pleased to hear from anyone who shares this ancestor.
