12/15/1920 J. J. REID, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. C. REID, Cardale,
was united in matrimony to Miss Pearl FENDERSON, late school teacher here at
the latter's home at Jacquet River, N.B., on Friday, Dec. 10th. They will
arrive home about Christmas time. Congratulations, Jack.

11/24/1920 TAYLOR - SPILLER

At the home of Thos. CHARLES, Cardale, on Thursday afternoon, Nov. 18th,
his niece, Sarah D. SPILLER was united in marriage to Robert TAYLOR, by Rev.
HUGHES of Newdale. The ceremony took place at 2:30 o'clock. The bride
looked charming in a gown of taupe grey satin and georgette, with orange
blossoms in her hair. The groom's gift to the bride was a gold wrist watch
and a gold locket and chain. The wedding supper was served at 5 p.m., Miss
Vera HIGHAM cutting the cake. The evening was spent in dancing, over fifty
guests being present. The happy young couple will reside in Cardale. Their
many friends wish them every success.

12/1/1920 Miss JOHANSEN and Geo. ABRAMS of Cardale, were married at
Winnipeg on November 20th. Mrs. ABRAMS left for a visit to England a few
days later.

12/1/1920 PRICE - ROBERTSON

Miss Teenie ROBERTSON, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard ROBERTSON,
Newdale, was united in matrimony to David PRICE of Cardale, at the home of
W. R. MC TAVISH last Wednesday evening. Miss Chrissie OGSTON acted as
bridesmaid and Stuart MC TAVISH was best man. The ceremony took place at 7
p.m., following which about seventy guests sat down to a sumptuous wedding
supper.

8/4/1920 ELLIS - FARREND

A interesting wedding took place on Wednesday afternoon, July 28th, when
Francis Susan FARREND became the wife of Albert ELLIS (my g-grandfather).
The service of Holy Matrimony was conducted by Rev. S. R. HAMMOND in St.
George's church, Brandon.
The bride and bridegroom are highly respected in this locality and all
friends united in wishing them every happiness.
