There is a monument in the Lachute Protestant Cemetery (which is very near
Gore), Quebec with the following:

In memory of Amos Oliver KERR born November 26, 1883 died February 7, 1962,
his wife AnniePearl THOMPSON born December 21, 1887 died May 15, 1984. In
memory of Samuel KERR born June26, 1857 died September 21, 1911 his wife
Lena Jane GRAHAM born on the high seas April 24, 1862 - August 29, 1952.
Leslie S. KERR born August29, 1915 died November 14, 1972. Curtis Oliver,
son of Amos and Pearl KERR died may 8, 1936 aged 18 years. Edna L.E. KERR
1912-1970 wife of Thos. BLACK 1908-1982

There was also a resort in the Gore, Kerr's Farm where many spent wonderful
vacations....
