Hi List:
Just a brief reminder to everyone, this is the City directory for Montreal, 1866/67 and only gives names of Heads of households, their occupation and a street address. Women are only mentioned is they are single and employed or if they are widowed and most times will state the name of their husband as well.
The business directory is listed by category, butcher, baker, etc. and will give the address of the business and the owners' name.

There was no listing for a Thomas Power. Also checked POWERS with no luck.

There are still abt 20 names to look up, so there should be more answers for you Tues, or Wed.
Out of curiosity, has anyone noticed the pattern developing of where certain occupations lived (same streets, etc) I don't know if these addresses were in what was known as Griffintown or not , maybe one of you will let the rest of know.
