Hi Murray,

Am posting this to the list in the event that someone else will benefit
from the exchange of information:

If you are ever in town (Montreal) and have some time to kill, visit
Concordia's library across from the Hall building on deMaisonneuve Ave.
downtown. I am sure you will be able to find the article in either the Star
or Gazette on Microfilm. It isn't an "original" but at least you would have
it.

regards,

Ken

Am interested in a Montreal English newspaper news report listing details
re my Grandfather William John Murphy's death by drowning Sept. 20, 1914
at L'Abord a Plouffe on the "Back River" - Rivieres des Prairies. Would
prefer to have a copy of the actual article and his obituary, or at least a
transcript of both. Not sure whether it was in the Gazette or Star, or
maybe some other newspaper that may have been around at that time.
