Thanks for the URL. I have checked it out but not knowing where he went
to in Montreal/Quebec, I can't seem to find anything on him.

Does anyone know if there are records of ships, trains from Newfoundland
to that area or seeing as Newfoundland was not part of Canada at that
time, would there be immigration records from NL to Montreal and or
Quebec area.

Hi List Members:
I am new to this list and was wondering if someone could help me out as
I do not know much about areas in Montreal/Quebec to search.

If a person(s) left Newfoundland in the early 1900's for Quebec, would
there be some sort of record on their entry into your province. I know
NF was not part of Canada during this period so I am assuming that
records may have been kept on people's arrival from Newfoundland to
Montreal/Quebec area.

The person I am interested in, was Arthur Carrignan (possibly
Carrigan/Corrigan) born Nov 9, 1896 in NL (city unknown), parents were
James Carrignan and Isabel Miller.

Can anyone point me as to where I may find some information on the
above.
