Researching Andrew Dryden b ab 1798. Does this name sound familiar to anyone? Also (DRYDEN) is the spelling listed on the gravestone, d Feb. 11, 1879 in Hemmingford, Quebec, Canada. Age 81 years. Native of Bally ------, Ireland. The headstone is extremely hard to read. I realize I am grasping at straws but does anyone know of this family? Could the Dryden name be spelled differently in Canada or Ireland?? He married Isabella Douglass from Scotland. Thank you.
