Hi John,

Chalet BBQ, how I remember going there with my Grandmother Annie Leahy. My
Dad went to Daniel O'Connell.
I lived north of Montreal in what was Plage Laval.
Later we moved to Ste Dorothee. I am now 62 and have such fond memories of
visiting both sets of Grandparents on Girouard.
My late father George Hicks worked for Molson's driving a beer truck for
years and years and he had so many stories to tell.
Before he went to war we lived in St Henri.
So many of the Irish have roots in Griffintown the Pointe and St Henri. Many
seems to have moved up to NDG.
St Augustins, my Grandmother attended mass every morning there and would
take me along when I was at her house.
I will stop before I start to ramble
Please John drop me a line at

cheers, Carolyn
