Hi Sheila, - old motor-mouth here,
Endless thanks for all those answers to the many questions to which
I - and I assume others - have no way of knowing there are actually answers
to, until someone like you unselfishly and voluntarily posts those
innumerable unknown names of married couples, names of kids with their
parents' names, and all that other nitty-gritty "needle-in-a haystack" stuff
that most amateur genealogists don't have a clue how to find. You're a
bloody treasure lady.

Re the Mary Christina Slattery / Quinn burial indicated below.
Assuming that my Mary Christina Slattery in question was born on May 7, 1891
at home (and this was the usual case back then) in Point St. Charles or
Griffintown, and was baptized the same day in St. Ann's Church (F24v B#114),
and then died following day, May 8th, would you, or any other
Can-Montreal-Irish listers, have an opinion as why the child's burial on May
9th, would have been registered as having taken place at Notre Dame Church -
i.e. - in another parish - instead of at St. Ann's Church?
