Hello Everyone

I have just joined the list hoping someone can help me with a problem.

I have a Thomas KIRBY who was apparently born in Ireland about 1824. He was
a banker in Ottawa and Montreal with the Merchant's Bank.

He is listed in the 1920 Montreal directory as follows:

1920 Directory of Montreal (last directory listed in)
Kirby Thomas, banker, 4471 Western Avenue, Westmount

He appears in several directories at this same address, but this is the last
one in which he is listed.

Based on this, I feel he probably died in 1920 (though 1919 and 1921 are
possible).

Would some kind soul please help me by looking for an obituary? Since he
was apparently in his 90's, and was fairly prominent, I feel there might
have been a write up.

Aditionaly, is it possible for someone to find a death certificate or burial
record for Thomas KIRBY?

I have no experience with Montreal research, so any help is appreciated.
