The recent postings about a Protestant Orphange and subsequent mention of
boarding scholl made me wonder about Roman Catholic ones in Montreal around the
early 1900s. My Dad was born in 1907 and may well have been in a boarding
school, if not an orphanage because his mother died when he was very young.
