Hello

I would like to contact relatives of John and Elizabeth Ann ( Eliza Ann) Graham who we understand moved to Montreal from Ontario and are in the 1891 Census. I have been told this is so but have not been able to find them as yet. The Graham family in Ontario were the following :
1. John born about 1843 in Ireland or Ontario
2. Elizabeth nee Cole, born in Ontario about 1839, parents John and Catherine Cole.
Catherine's parents Thomas and Elizabeth Elliott.
3. Isabella (Bella) born about 1863 in Ontario.
4. Thomas born about 1865 in Ontario
5. Jenny born about 1868 in Ontario
6. May born about 1870 in Ontario
7. John born about 1874 in Ontario
8. Frederick born about 1874 in Ontario
9. Hattie born about 1880 in Ontario

John and Elizabeth Graham's marriage record states the following:
Marriages Simcoe Co. 1858 - 1866, Vol. 63, MS #248 Reel #14 Ontario Archives -

John Graham age 26, residence Nottawasaga(Twp.), born in Ireland, parents William & Elizabeth Graham, bride Elizabeth Coles age 21, residence Essa Twp., born Canada, parents John & Catherine Coles, witness Joshua Harrison of Essa(Twp), 22 June 1860.

The family were found in Simcoe Co. at Essa Township, in 1861; moved to Nicolston Village, Tecumseh Township in 1871; and to Peel Co. Chinguancousy Township in 1881. All of the Townships are in Ontario. Then I understand the family moved to Montreal in 1891.

John Graham's brother, William Graham born in about 1824 in Ireland married Catherine Cole, Elizabeth's mother. Catherine was a widow whose first husband was John Cole.
