Hi Sheila, - S'me again.
Just thought of something. That guy below, - William Morgan Quinn - he also
played for Montreal Shamrocks Lacrosse Club, but I think from 1910-1912. He
was one of my father's brothers. Apparently (according to my Dad) he was one
tough bugger; had his nose broken 13 times in his career. Guess it must'a
been rough breathing through his ears. I can remember as a little kid
watching this Morgan playing friendly (Har! Har! Har!) games of lacrosse
with his seven brothers on the front lawn of our summer cottage up here at
the lake during the summers in the late 40's. I still have one of his
lacrosse sticks in the basement. For yerars, I've been trying to find
someone who still knows how to re-string an antique stick with real gut
string, but I haven't found anyone yet.
