What I believe would be more practical is for me to get a copy of the
Marriages myself and do the research. Is it availalable at Fredericton/Provincial
Archives? If so, I'm going over there in October and I could get a copy or at
least do the research if I take the proper name of the document. Otherwise,
I'm particularly interested in the marriage of: Mary Lovine and John Angus
McIntosh. They may have been married in 1856 or 1857 or thereabouts. Whether
they were married in Carleton or Kent I do not know, but if it were Carleton, I'd
not be looking in Kent, in future. He was 40ish and she was about 26. They
are my great grandparents. He came to Buctouche in 1816 and moved to
Beechwood in later life, assumingly after he had several children in Richibucto.
Nonetheless, he had to find Mary Lovine to marry her, eh? She was from Kilburn,
and not Buctouche. That is why I'm thinking he and she may have married in
Carleton CO rather than Buctouche even though they eventually lived in Weldford
and Richibucto before going to Beechwood.

Unfortunately, this Jane Beattie is not related at least I have never seen a
Jane Beattie in my lineage and I have most of it re Canada. But, I'll keep
Beattie/Tapley on hand in case. I do have nmany Estabrook relatives who went to
Wicklow and to Royalton/Tracey Mills and then to Bridgewater, ME. There are
many in Landsdown, but I don't know in which parish that is located. Thanks.
It would be enough to ask even to get this information if it were available.
I most appreciate your kindness. I'm related, distantly, to Davises in Maine
through my g g g grandfather, Jacob Morse, Sr.
Sincerely, Don Beattie
