I wish to learn which church records microfilm might contain the 1861 marriage record referenced by the following newspaper extract:
New Brunswick Newspaper Vital Statistics
Date : July 27, 1861
County : Northumberland
Place : Chatham
Newspaper : The Gleaner and Northumberland Schediasma
m. At residence of bride's father, by Rev. James Law, John HUTCHESON, Merchant, Richibucto (Kent Co.), / Elizabeth STEVENSON youngest d/o Mr. STEVENSON, same place.
My understanding is that Reverend James Law was a Presbyterian minister? (He was the father of Andrew Bonar Law.) John Hutchinson & wife Elizabeth are listed as Presbyterian in the 1861, 1871 & 1881 censuses. They lived in Bouctouche.
The PANB Kent County Guide lists the following, but I notice that none of the Presbyterian microfilms go back to 1861.
I've already viewed the Latter Day Saints' version of "St. Martin in the Woods, Shediac, 1829-1956, F1104" with no success. The LDS film number is 1412406. Are they the exact same films?
Can anyone tell me which of the following films would be my best bet to find John Hutchinson & Elizabeth Stevenson's marriage record?
