STENNICK, BRUCE MORAN With great sadness we announce the sudden death of our loving father, grandfather and greatgrandfather; Bruce Stennick, age 77, of French Lake Road, NB. on Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at the Oromocto Public Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Geary November 12, 1929. He was the son of the late Obdur and Bessie Stennick. Beloved husband of the late Phyllis Irene (Oram) Stennick. Bruce was a Carpenter at CFB Gagetown, retiring after 35 years. Bruce was the most precious and loving father to his eight children: Robert (Colene) Sask., Avis (Philip) Duplisea French Lake, Elizabeth (David) Miner Upper Gagetown, Hazel (Vernon) Ward Mazerolle Sett., Doras (Jackie) French Lake, Retta (Robert) Flowers Geary, Mabel (Dave) Wells French Lake, and Frank (Carla) French Lake. Bruce is sadly missed by his four sisters Myrtle (Lester) Brown, Mabel Oram, Jean (Armand) Gaudet, and Marie LeGassie, and twenty grandchildren Janice, Keith, Aimee, Jamie, Steven, Christina, Wayne, Lisa, Wendy, Rob, Jeannie, Shauna, Angie, Michael, Melissa, Katie, Mark, Joe, Frank and Sarah, as well as fifteen great grandchildren: Alorah, Camille, Madison, Kylie, Bailey, Reilly, Jayme, Morgan, Steven, Tyra, Joshua, Brandon, Kyle, Ethan and Holly, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, several nieces and nephews, and special friends Ronnie and Olive Oram and Shirley Stennick. Bruce was predeceased by brothers George, Frank, Arthur, Buddy, Carl, two infant brothers and sisters Florence, Mildred and Dorothy. Visitation will be at his home 377 French Lake Road, French Lake, on Friday 7-9 pm and Saturday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral will be held at French Lake Baptist Church on Sunday February 11th at 2:30 pm. Internment will follow at the Morrow Cemetery, French Lake. The family requests no scents, including perfumes, aftershaves, hair sprays, etc. Artificial flowers are requested by the family, and donations to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or Canadian Diabetes Association, or to the French Lake Baptist Church. Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.

DUPLISEA, BERNICE EVELYN - It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear Mother Bernice E. Duplisea (Gillett) on October 5, 2006 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Wife of the late Murray G. Duplisea of Willow Grove, N.B. Born in Hoyt, March 19, 1921 to the late Frederick J. Gillett and Lucille G. (Duplisea) Gillett. As a stay at home Mother she was dedicated to her life raising her 10 children. She was a woman of great courage and strength, which she passed on to us. She was a special mom to many, who loved her dearly, especially her niece Sherry McKay. Mom was well known for her great cooking and whom ever came through her door never left hungry. Mom loved to read and do puzzles. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and special friend Helen Stevens who predeceased her on February 15, 2006. Bernice is survived by her eight children, Sandra Olsen (Harold) Otter Lake, Helen Duplisea, Willow Grove, Karen Campbell Norton, Debbie Sherwood (Neil) Upham, Joseph (Catherine) Willow Grove, William (Frances) Mt.Middleton, James of Glen Falls and Robert (Judy) Grand Bay; son-in-law, Robert Steele, Loch Lomond. Also survived by her 18 grandchildren, Pamela Dafazio, Anthony Moore, Michelle Moore, Michael Steele, Jeremy Duplisea, Lori Good, Chad Duplisea, Wade Duplisea, Troy Duplisea, Marc Duplisea, Justin Duplisea, Lisa Duplisea, Kevin Duplisea, Sheena Sherwood, Kyle Sherwood, Melissa Pollock, Nicole Duplisea, and Natalie Duplisea; 15 great-grandchildren which were the apple of her eye, several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, Murray; daughters, Donna Steele, Nancy Duplisea; granddaughter, Shawna Macumber; and great granddaughter, Lauren Macumber; daughter in law, Carolyn Duplisea; and son-in-law, Kevin Campbell. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by sisters, Myrtle, Stella, Bertha, Clara, Sadie, Helen; brothers, John, Hersey, Roy, Fred, Charles, Lorne, and James. Resting at Brenan's Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John (634-7424), with visiting on Sunday and Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph' Church, Loch Lomond, on Tuesday, October 10, 2006, at 11:30 am. Interment in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Remembrances to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of New Brunswick, the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Palliative Care Unit of the Saint John Regional Hospital or the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.

MCLEOD, GRACE Grace McLeod of Wirral passed on at the Oromocto Public Hospital on October 5, 2006, leaving family and friends who will miss her greatly. Born 1916, daughter of the late Brad and Mae (Toole) Duplisea. Grace is survived by her son Royce (Judy) of Wirral, daughters Lynda (Murray) Gimby of Wirral, Susan (Robert) Eveleigh of Saint John. She was extremely close and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren, great grandchildren, brother-in-law Harry Warrington of Calgary, several nieces and nephews. Grace is predeceased by her parents, her husband Ken, Daughter Judith, grandson Kyle, brother Clarence, sisters Stella, Hazel and Eileen, sister and brother-in-law Marg and Harry McLeod. Among Graces accomplishments were School Teacher, Sunday School Teacher, Organist and Deaconess. Her church, faith, and family were of most importance to her, she will be remembered for her dedication to these. She was a life long member of Hospital Aid, Women's Institute, Missionary Society and retired Teachers Association. She loved the outdoors and was an accomplished sports woman and naturalist. Very few Jays or Toronto Maple Leaf games did she miss. She will be buried on her 90th birthday. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home on Saturday, 2-4 and 7-9 and on Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service will be from Blissville Baptist Church on Monday October 9, at 2 PM. Interment to follow at the Wirral Baptist Cemetery. If you wish a donation in Grace's memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are in the care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, N. B. (368-2413).

CAMPBELL, KEVIN BYARD The Funeral of Kevin Byard Campbell of Norton, N.B., husband of Karen (Duplisea) Campbell was held on August 4/06 from Sherwood's Funeral Home to Sacred Heart Church where a Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated by Fr. Arnie Hachey and concelebrant Fr. Peter Bagley. Scripture readings were proclaimed by nephew David Shipley and family friend Mary McConchie. Organist and soloist was Al Smith. Pallbearers were Ken McConchie, Larry McConchie, Bob Booth, Gerard McGinnis, Dave Monahan, Dave Miller, Bob Steele and Mike Steel. Honorary pallbearers were Kevin's Dart Team Members: Dave Davenport, Nick Davenport, Donnie Winchester, Rick McEwen, Lorne Avery, Robert McGarity, Jack Melanson, Bill White and Mel Scribner. Many tributes were given through floral arrangements from family, friends and businesses as well as Mass Cards, Living Memorials and donations made in Kevin's memory to numerous organizations and charities. Internment took place in Sacred Heart Cemetery with prayers at the grave by Fr. Hachey. A reception in the parish hall followed catered by Sacred Heart Ladies Society.

DUPLISEA, GLADYS GEORGINA At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Sunday, September 3, 2006, Gladys Georgina Duplisea of Fredericton passed away at the age of 90. Born in Barnesville, NB, she was a daughter of the late Walter Brunswick and Georgina (Rodgers) Thompson. Gladys was a member of Christ Church (Parish) Church, Fredericton, and a member of the Silver Dolphins Swim Club. She had a great interest in travelling. She is survived by one daughter, Joan Elliott (Robert) of Chipman; one son, William (Candice) of Fredericton; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; five sisters, Margaret Scott of Saint John, Betty Brown of Danbury, Connecticut, Shirley Simpson (Dick) of Sussex, Jean Kirkpatrick of Saint John, Winnifred Cooper (Don) of Gondola Point, NB. She was predeceased by her 1st husband, Wilbur Fraser Vaughan and her 2nd husband, James Arnold Duplisea; one son, Donald; one brother, Walter; one sister, Mildred; one grandson, Jason. Visitation will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Friday, September 8th at 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Saturday, September 9, 2006, at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Barnesville, NB, with Rev. Garth Maxwell and Ven. John Sharpe officiating. Committal to follow in the church cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society or the Anglican Church in Barnesville, NB would be appreciated. Pallbearers will be Robert, Timothy, David, Wilbur, Martin and Charles. Honourary pallbearers will be Amber Elliott, Jeremy and Jody Duplisea, April and Corey Elliott and Amy Daamen.
