very kind of you to offer. I have some information on both these names as they relate to their settlment in Sheffield parish of Sunbury Co.(Lakeville Corner) and in Queens Co.N.B., then to Carleton Co. (Abiel's descendants) but I would be happy to compare notes on the descendants of Abiel Briggs and Elizabeth Chase; also Ebenezer Briggs and Diadema Case, Elizabeths sister.

In relation to "John Briggs"... there seems to be a great controversy over the origins of this family... doyou know where John Briggs fatherof Abiel was born?
