CLARKE, Annie M. - Passed Peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, December 8, 2005, Annie M. Clarke of Victoria, age 80 years. Predeceased by husband: Augustus; parents: Alexander and Providence Clarke; son-in-law: James Baker; sister: Eliza Snook; brothers: George and Frederick Clarke. Leaving to mourn: three daughters: Marie Baker, Carbonear, Linda (Allan) Willmott, Bay d'Espoir and Kay (Peter) White, Carbonear; four sons: George (Glenda) and Perry (Rhoda), both of Victoria, Paul, Heart's Delight and Lee (Betty), Carbonear; fourteen grandchildren: Caroline, James, Delores, Tony, Kelly, Paul, Tracey, Terry, Heidi, Ryan, Donetta, Andrew, Michael and Leann; eleven great-grandchildren: Leonard, Alexander, Calvin, Michael, Shawn, Shane, Robert, Mariah, Emily, Hannah and Christine; two sisters: Louise Parsons and Margaret Dean, both of Victoria; sisters-in-law: Doris Clarke, Bertha May Clarke, Joyce Clarke, Hilda Clarke and Muriel (Donald) Jackson, all of !

COUVES, Johanna Sigridur (Nordal) - We wish to share with you the passing of our mother Johanna on December 7, 2005 at the age of 86. Joey was a strong, loving and compassionate woman completely dedicated to her family all her life. In many ways a renaissance woman; she was a singer, potter, painter, gardener and seamstress - she embraced life fully. We five children encircled her with our love keeping a vigil over her, with the amazing help of the caring staff and her loyal companion, Spencer the cat, at Noric House in Vernon, BC. Thank you to all of you who sent love and prayers to her during her last difficult days. Johanna was predeceased by her husband Cecil and one son Robert. She will be forever cherished by her five children: Colleen (Keith), Dianne, Ron (Pam), Brian (Helen), Brent (Michele); eleven grandchildren: Darian (Teresa), Travis (Jill), Tony, Den (Shelley), Amy (Mardy), Meghan, Michael, Mark, Noel, Riley, Can and five great-grandchildren: Keenan, Kiana, Jenn!

Predeceased by five brothers and four sisters. HOOKEY, Gladys May (nee Batten) - Passed peacefully away on December 8, 2005 at Meadow Creek Retirement Centre, age 80 years of Bell Island. Predeceased by husband Roy, parents Charles and Margaret. PATTERSON, William - Peacefully on Wednesday, December 7th at Leisureworld in Brampton. William, beloved husband of the late Imelda (nee Conway). Loving father of Madonna McCalla and her husband Rick, Virginia Patterson her husband Fred, Brian Patterson and his wife Carla, Doreen Price and her husband Dave, Michelle Patterson-Bruno and husband Joe and his son-in-law Jerome.
