CHISHOLM, Archie A.
CHISHOLM, Archie A. - 88, Antigonish, died May 30, 2001, at home. Born in
South Side Harbour, he was a son of the late Colin A. and Maggie
(MacIntyre) Chisholm. He worked 45 years at Eastern Dairyfoods. He had a
great love of family, farming and horses and was an avid card player. He
was a member of St. Ninian's parish. Surviving are his wife, Josie
(DeCoff); daughters, Liz (Bo) Chisholm, Bernice (Bill) Kiely; sons, Archie
(Alice Caume), Bernie (Brenda MacAdam), all of Antigonish; 14
grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Sadie Murphy, Ottawa,
Ont.; Margaret "Peg" DeCoste, New Glasgow. He was predeceased by brothers,
Donald and John; sisters, Elizabeth, Mary Cypher, Rachael Kennedy and Chris
Nash. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in MacIsaac Funeral Home, Antigonish.
Funeral 11 a.m. Saturday in St. Ninian's Cathedral, Antigonish, Rev. Ray
Huntley officiating. Memorial donations may be made to St. Martha's
Hospital Foundation.
