Francis Snyder of Afton is seeking information on his grandfather, Joseph
J. DELOREY.

Joseph Delorey was born May 31, 1874 in Massachusetts and died July 23,
1938 in Tracadie, Nova Scotia. Joseph J. married Elizabeth Ann LANDRY in
1903 in Boston. She was the daughter of Guillaume Landry and Ludivine DeCOSTE.

Joseph J.'s parents are listed on the 1911 Census of Antigonish (Tracadie)
as Joseph H. Delorey and Apuline Delorey.

Joseph J. Delorey's sister, Mrs. Charles GRAY died in Billerica, Mass. and
her parents were noted to be from Aberdeen, Scotland. Francis therefore
believes that Joseph J. Delorey was adopted in Boston and that he is
actually of Scottish descent.
