Deed Archibald Campbell and Angus Campbell to Ronald McDonald

" parcel of land situate lying and being at Monks Head in the County Of Sydney and Province of Nova Scotia, bounded towards the West by lands owned by Colin Chisholm, toward the South by lands granted by Government to the French Acadians, toward the East by land granted to George Henry Monk Esquire and toward the North by Hierliky(spelling) Lake, containing 100 acres more or less.

I can see the place on the Church Map but I can't understand why my ancestors are involved in land transactions all over the map.(HELP!)

If you had to give this area another name what would it be, Pomquet?

Where are my MacDonald (Monkshead) Clanranald friends. Rankin page 183.

Oh No! Upon reviewing the Rankin Book rediscovered the Campbell, of Pomquet River (Piper) chapter, this could get complicated.
