An excellent article, written by Bill Waiser, was printed in the June 20
issue of the Globe and Mail. It was factual, well-written, an enjoyable
item to read about the census issue.

The article deals with the special 1906 Canadian census for three prairie
provinces, Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Prior to this their records
are well-known, but not listed as Canadian census records.
I also received the article from the CAN-SASKATCHEWAN list from Garth
Ulrich, our Saskatchewan member of the Canada Census Committee.
