MacDONALD, John Archie "Long John"
MacDONALD, John Archie "Long John" - 75, Sydney,
formerly of Judique, died Sunday, July 14, 2002, at
home. Born in Judique, he was a son of the late John A.
and Jessie (O'Hanley) MacDonald. He was a past member of
St. Andrew's Church, Judique. He is survived by his
daughter, Sherry and son-in-law Reid Morris and
grandson, Mark, Bridgetown; daughter, Denise and
grandson, Jesse, Calgary; son, John and granddaughter,
Jessica, Sydney; sisters, Sarah, Mississauga Ont.;
Flora, Long Point; Kaye, Lakefield Ont.; Theresa,
Newton, Mass; Christina, Sudbury, Ont.; brother, Donald
Angus, Port Hood; many nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by his brother, Hughie Angus. Visitation
will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Judique Mens Club.
Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 a.m. Thursday in St.
Andrew's Church, Judique, Rev. Allan Mac Millan and Rev.
Angus Morris officiating. Interment in the parish
cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of
choice. Funeral arrangements are under the dignified
direction of JF Greene Funeral Services Limited, Port
