but did you hear of the Scotsman who went into the bar and ordered 3 pints of beer and proceeded to drink them himself.....it was noticed by the other drinkers in the pub as it went on daily until one of the lads went up to the Scot and asked him why he ordered the three drinks and then proceeded to drink them alone..

Well says he, I have two brothers and we agreed that we would always have a drink together when we went to the pub, and as they are not here I order their drinks along with my own.......The sentiment so moved the others in the pub it was the talk of the bar.

Unfortunately the following day the Scot came in and only ordered and proceeded to drink two pints.....all the locals were aghast, had a brother died, who would approach him and enquire as to why the change.....a period passed until one, gaining courage from having downed a pint or two sidled up to the Scot and offered his sympathy for the loss of his brother......why would you suppose him dead said the Scot, they are both as well as I be......but you only ordered two pints replied the lad.......Ah says the Scot, they're for my brothers I've given up the drink for lent........
