I am descended from Eliza Jane Fanning and Daniel Smalle. They had 11 children, one of which was Bland Smalle born June 5, 1858 in Digby, Nova Scotia. I am looking for any family information. Bland married Delitha Higgins my g-grandmother. Few details are known about Delitha's beginnings. She supposedly was a Cherokee Indian. Her parents were killed when she was small and she was adopted by a preacher on the reservation. His name was Higgins. We don't have a first name for him or what his wife's name was. I am hoping that possibly one of Bland's siblings descendants knows information about Delitha.
