Well, a good first start would be www.novascotiagenealogy.com for vital
records information, if you haven't already visited, that would be a good
first start.
There are many listers researching the BELLIVEAU and alternate spelling
lines that are subscribed to this list and/or the NS list.
Of course, www.automatedgenealogy.com is another source for finding your
grandmother listed in their transcriptions of the 1911 Canada Census.
As I've no idea how new you really are, will not go further as yet, just
in case you're truly "green" to this "art" we call Genealogy! :-)
