> Sangster, Alvin Ashley - 70, Port Bickerton, passed away April 16, 2008. Born in New Harbour, Guysborough Co., he was a son of the late Victor and Cordelia (Luddington) Sangster. A loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, Alvin spent most of his life on the sea as a commercial fisherman. In his retirement years, he spent many hours in his workshop building various projects with and for the grandchildren he loved. He was valued and respected for his instinct and knowledge of the sea, and willingly shared his time and wisdom with anyone he could help. Born in Goldboro, Guysborough Co., she was a daughter of the late Parker and Lillian (MacArthur) Giffin. Dorothy's most precious possession was her family. She spent her life raising and caring for her children and extended family. In her younger years, she worked for a short time at Ferguson's Drug Store, Pictou.
