Frederick L. Pineo -

Shubenacadie - Frederick Lewis Pineo, 75, of Shubenacadie died Tuesday at
home. Born in West Indian Road, he was a son of the late George and Agnes
(Noble) Pineo. He was an elder of the United Church, Shubenacadie for
several years. He was a past master and treasurer of the C.W. Saunders
Masonic Lodge. He was the owner of Pineo Meats. Surviving are his wife, The
former Bessie MacPhee; three daughters, Phyllis (Mrs. Allan Milne),
Stewiacke; Joan (Mrs. Ronald Wilmot), Willowdale, Ont.; Ruth (Mrs. Clyde
Farquhar), Halifax; one son. Dr. Graham Pineo, Calgary; one sister, Lorenah
(Mrs. Cyril MacPhee), Shubenacadie; eight grandchildren and two
great-grandsons. He was predeceased by an infant son, Aubrey; and four
brothers, Frank, George, Henry and Ezekiel. The body is at Ettinger's
Funeral Home, Shubenacadie. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 2 p.m.
in the United Church, Shubenacadie, Rev. L. Murray officiating. Burial will
be in Brookside cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the
Canadian Red Cross.
