MRS. MARGARET DALRYMPLE

PICTOU, June 27 The death of Mrs. Margaret Dalrymple occurred this morning
at the home of Mrs. Dan MacKaracher. She was 87 years of age. She was twice
married, her first husband being Captain Hugh MacKenzie, and she sailed
with him for seven years before settling at Bay View. After his death she
married Captain Dalrymple and they lived in Truro for 18 years. She was
formerly Margaret Henderson, and was born at Seafoam. A daughter, Annie,
died some years ago. Mrs. Dalrymple has lived in Pictou for some years,
making her home with her adopted daughter, Mrs. Dan MacKaracher. Another
adopted daughter is Mrs. William Smith, Truro. She also leaves a sister,
Mrs. Sarah MacMaster, Seafoam, and one brother, Daniel, Seafoam. The funeral
will be held Wednesday from Mrs. MacKarachers home, the service beginning
at 2 p.m., and interment will be in Central Cariboo cemetery.
