MRS. A. JAMES GRANT

WESTVILLE, Dec. 13 - Mrs. A. James Grant passed away in Montreal following
a lengthy illness. Mrs. Grant was the former Eva Hunter, Montreal, widow
of A. James Grant of Linacy, near New Glasgow, and for many years Mr. Grant
was associated with the C.P.R. in New Glasgow, Moncton and Montreal. The
funeral service was held Sunday afternoon at Ritchie's Funeral Home, New
Glasgow, and was conducted by William Ooms of St. Andrew's Presbyterian
Church. The pall bearers were W.A. Sutherland, John A. Cameron, Dr. John
Bell, Dr. William MacKay, Thorburn, Alexander Fraser and Fraser Marshall.
The burial was made at Riverside cemetery.

Her husband passed away eight years ago and a daughter Ruth predeceased
her two years ago. Surviving members of her family include two daughters,
Lydia Fraser and Muriel, both in Montreal; two sons, Easton, Montreal,
and Donald, Smith's Falls, who accompanied his mother's remains to New
Glasgow.
