To all:-

Sincerely hope all readers enjoy reading maps -- this is the
territorial evolution of Canada -- very interesting
http://atlas.gc.ca/site/english/maps/historical
To obtain maps from about 1600 to present day, click on
Territorial Evolution, then select which map(s) you wish to view.

As many in the northern areas moved from area to area, I have
also copied in Alaska -- the men were always following the
gold trail -- plus other reasons.

Census records are now online -- images and Automated Genealogy.
For Automated Genealogy, http://automatedgenealogy.com/index.html
Many places have yet to be transcribed -- just follow the directions.
TIP:- Alberta and Saskatchewan plus the northern areas are listed
as THE TERRITORIES on the 1901 census.

1911 Census Images

These give all replies to questions including health of people.
However, if one only desires the minimum of data, click
on the Automated Genealogy link, you may sign in, up pops
the image for the chosen page. I have found by using 75%,
obtained by clicking on the % area at top, reading is very easy.
[A magnifying glass also helps -- do NOT change spelling of words]
Let's get the northern areas finished -- good reading later!

More information available if desired -- any pages done on
Automated Genealogy might help find your ancestors.

Remember, NUNAVUT will be listed with NorthWest Territories
as this is the 1911 census.
