Hi Barbara:

I used www.google.com and 4 pages of hits showed up for "Frederickhouse Ontario".

a community called Frederickhouse. They are both just west of Cochrane, Ontario.
I assume you found Cochrane (200 miles north of North Bay, Ontario). Some of the
hits in google talked about some pretty bad fires they had over the years and the
plague.....!

I live in North Bay and have driven through Cochrane on the way to Western Canada so
I am no authority.....!

This link below gives you a good map of that area.....! Select Map 15 and keep
zooming in......! You will see place marked Frederick and I would bet my bottom
dollar that is the community you are looking for and it probably is on the
Frederickhouse River.
