Hi! I just joined the list and wanted to share some of what I have. I believe that the Forster/Foster's arrived in Elgin County in the mis 1850's. Hannah Forster and Eleanor Forster's line I have due to the fact they married into the Hunter-Jones-Shipley. As for the rest of Ralph and Elizabeth (MERRILL) FORSTER'S Children I'm not sure if all or only a few of them moved to Elgin County from Cumberland County, NS.

I have some correspondence from a G.W. Foster in Indiana from the 1930's to my great grandmother. He was a cousin, and mentions that he grew up in Sparta.
