First of all, thanks to everyone that responded to my post. Lorraine in
Ottawa: I have to LIGHTLE that I can find in the family history, or an
Anthony Brown. Tom Aitchison: I can't find any Mary Elizabeth that married
a Charles Seymour. John Doran: My George Brown was born in 1860 in
England, married Emma Jane Gurley. I have no Robert Roy Brown. But this
does not mean that they are not family.
The furthest I have been able to go back so far is Thomas Brown, born
between 1823-1841 in Norwich, Norfolk, England. He died about 1903 in
Elgin, Manitoba. These Browns mentioned above could possibly be related
thru this Thomas's brothers or sisters, which I know nothing of. My Thomas
Brown married a Mary. From a death certificate it looks like her surname
could be Warren or Varren. She was born in Ireland. Their children were:
George, born England, married Emma Jane Gurley
Thomas, born England, married Julia
Edward, born ON, married Nellie
Martha, born ON, married McCullagh
Walter, born ON, married Georgina
Julia, born ON, married Thomas Ames
Jim, born ON, married Martha Killarney
Arthur, born ON
Alice, born ON, married James Potter
Nellie, born ON, married Tom Monk
Maybe some of these names look familiar.
